This class will be conducted as described and according to the CAMPEP policies and procedures for MPCEC. This is a classroom lecture with a hands-on lab utilizing practical exercises in Quality Assurance. The class is taught via slide projection with handouts describing each function. The target audience is Medical Physicists. This class is taught by employees of RIT.

This is a two day class from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on both days. In order to obtain CAMPEP credits, attendees must stay for the entire class. The participants in each course will be provided with a form to evaluate the course and verify attendance.

In order to qualify to receive MPCEC, a physicist must fulfil at least one of the following requirements:

• Membership in AAPM, ACR, ACMP, or CCPM/COMP
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology (one or more sub-fields of radiological physics)
• Certification by the American Board of Medical Physics
• Certification by the Canadian College of Medical Physics
