Precision is the entire point of IMRT, IGRT, and VMAT. For many years film dosimetry was the gold standard tool for the high resolution images that are the cornerstone of QA testing. Although many of our users have transitioned to using thier EPID with RIT113, film is always an opion. Speed and efficiency are critical to a busy treatment center, but obtaining the most accurate dose analysis possible is the real responsibility.

Generic Image File Import

Great for Cyberknife Analysis! RIT imports generic JPEG, TIFF, and BITMAP image files from sources other than your Vidar Scanner giving you increased flexibility in your workflow to use RIT’s exclusive analysis routines.

 (“Vidar Scanner Control Center”) that allows for multiple film scanning, auto-naming, and auto-cropping, auto-flipping, and preview of scanned images. Diagnostics are included in the “Vidar Scanner Control Center” under the Vidar Info button. This eliminates the need to run a separate application and automatically uploads scanner test results to the RIT FTP site for technical support.

Added to our interfaces with other Vidar Scanner models, we interface with Vidar’s Dosimetry Pro Advantage RED LED scanner. Recommended for EBT film, this scanner is significantly faster and uses a long life Red LED.
