RIT113 Dosimetry Software is a critical independent QA element for implementing a successful IMRT and/or IGRT program, using Film, CR, EPID or Ion Chamber Array images. This course will train you in the basic and advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance techniques using the most current version of the RIT113 system, and how to comply with TG142 Best Practice recommendations. The course will provide a level of understanding that will enable you to easily integrate the RIT system into an IMRT and/or IGRT program including using your EPID for QA. This is a hands-on course with practical exercises.
Radia Therapy Software performs automated QC Phantom analysis for Catphan/OBI, kV/MV & Cone Beam CT, EPID QC, DR/CR/Fluoro kV, and kV/MV imaging. Learn how your Medical Physics Group, with the RIT package and corresponding phantoms, has everything you need to perform or trend EVERY daily, weekly, monthly and annual imaging and dosimetry test recommended in TG142
This class will be conducted as described and according to the CAMPEP policies and procedures for MPEC. This is a classroom lecture with a hands-on lab utilizing practical exercises in Quality Assurance. The class is taught via slide projection with handouts describing each function.
